Chemo was on Monday the 23rd. I was graciously escorted by my buddy and sister in law Cindy. She will go any ware for a photo opportunity. We got there at 10:00 got started with meds about 11:30 finished up at 3:30 or so. It wasn't that bad, I have felt pretty good this week except for some heartburn, hot flashes, a small amount of nausea. Can't complain too much. Cindy was great company she went to the mall and brought back a cinnamon roll yum yum. The nurses said to go ahead and eat one every time I come for chemo. I had lots of company with the other patients. They will surely have to cheer up cause I will not sit and pout with them, we're all in the same boat I will get them smiling. Ellen's on at 11:00 thank you Ellen for cheering me up during chemo. Cindy took pictures of my new Ellen cut with the Ellen show in the shot. By the time we were done and ready to go everyone knew we were scrap booking this stuff the nurses even gave me stuff the next day to add to the book. I will have 7 more treatments to go, every other week. With plenty of visits in between for physical therapy, Breast Dr and chemo follow ups.
Stacey has fixed the hair again and it looks super thank you Stace.......

Charlee is turning big 15 on the 30th. Seems that you blink a few times next thing you know you're babies are darn near grown, scary, can we just freeze dry them. I didn't say clone I said freeze dry, time flies. She is playing tennis and really seems to enjoy the sport. She had a game and didn't hit one ball, but she will I'm sure in time.
Grandma is still hitting physical therapy every week and she is waiting to regain some strength in her arm. Her and I should be doing exercises with our arms so we can get more movement. Its been tough on her not being as active as she was before all this surgery. She deserves a vacation maybe we'll all get the chance to take a break after this stuff is all done.
I am going to be brief on this next paragraph. Kendalls great family friend Rachel whom has spend the last few months hanging out with us has started chemo for Hodgkin's Disease, she called to tell me as I was having an appointment in my chemo Dr office, blew me away, I still want to pinch pinch, it unbelievable. She has a rough but do-able road ahead of her, she is strong and will come through with flying colors. I would never ask that anyone go through this, her and I will prevail. I wonder all the time now what the odds of this happening are, you tell me? Just double the prayers for her and her parents please. She's not alone and nor am I. This is not something you do the buddy system with, but it has happened. We have big plans ahead for the two of us. This young lady was suppose to do her volunteer work that same week she was hospitalized, she was admitted to the pediatrics oncology floor, where she was to volunteer. She attends college full time with a 4.0 GPA and is 16 years old. AMAZING. She will resume school in the fall, for now she will focus on getting better. Love you lots kiddo.
By the way check this snow stuff out Blake is enjoying a ride in the snow!
